Ok. This one took me a little longer to finish than the other books. Partially because I took a break in the middle to read a different book, and partially because I haven’t had as much time to read as I like.
I was a little skeptical when I first picked it up. The whole concept of humans with insect traits seemed a little dumb. But the series was getting a lot of good reviews. So I figured I would try it out. And I have to say it was good. The story line was engaging and the characters likable. The insect thing added a lot to the story, though I think the author could have used a different method to give the characters their special traits (inherited magic maybe).
The story was good enough that I will probably dig up the rest of the books in the series and read them when I get the chance.
