When I found this, I was pretty excited. The other Bauchelain stories were so much fun to read. They were pretty dark and bloody, but still very fun. But sadly I didn’t like this book. The characters were not like able and despite it being a Bauchelain and Korbal Broach story, they didn’t make an appearance in the story until the end.
